Bulgarian Scrabble

Scrabble is not yet a very popular game in Bulgaria (just think, a whole country full of people who can have the pleasure of discovering Scrabble for the first time!), but recently I've heard from a correspondant that there is now a commercial scrabble-like game for sale in Bulgaria. This is another site which I think has the Scrabble Rules. Bulgarian Scrabble uses the Cyrillic alphabet (see our Russian page) but omits two letters which are present in Russian (so the eagle-eyed reader will have spotted by now that the board above is actually a Russian one; here are some genuine Bulgarian boards from the not-quite-scrabble game mentioned above).
