We used to have a couple of forums for discussing this sort of thing.  They died when Yahoo Groups died.

I made a backup:

Unfortunately we didn't get a dump of the membership email addresses so although I'ld like
to resurrect those lists, I don't think it would be easy to contact everyone again.

(There was also the Orion mailing list for those of us working on a group project with Neil Bradley,
but I don't have an archive of that (except embedded in multiple old mailbox backups) and I'm not
sure it would be proper to put it online anyway without asking permission from everyone who had
posted to it, since it was a private mailing list, not a public group.  But if the members want
to resurrect it I may be able to extract those mails with some effort, so let me know if you
feel strongly about seeing those old conversations again guys.)
