New VLSI Cell editor: Motherhood statements.

Features:

Can ALWAYS enter menu selections, no matter what you
were doing at the time.  

Can always abort operation at any time. (Similar to above)

Pan, zoom, switch location, close-up, grid etc. are INDEPENDANT
of editing operations.  A Cut-paste, for example, can pick up
from one side of a chip and put down on the other.

Can draw rectangles, or lines which are later filled out into
solid polygons. Line drawing may be at 45 degree angles.

Shape dragging must be accurately reflected on the screen.
