Barry Gorman (Systems programmer at Lancashire Poly), who was user "coral66" on tardis.cs.ed.ac.uk,
wrote the coral66 compiler for the Argus 500: see ADA084068.pdf

( There was also an Imp77 compiler for the Argus 500 - if memory serves, the people involved may
have been Fred King, Rainer Thonnes and Nick Shelness? )
