Hello and welcome to the crossword archive (anonymous FTP location
   gatekeeper.dec.com:/pub/micro/msdos/misc/crossword-archive).  This
   archive is maintained by me, James A. Lundon. 

   The crossword archive contains many items of interest to people
   interested in crosswords and to members of the
   rec.puzzles.crosswords Usenet newsgroup.  The material in the
   archive has been collected over a period of four years from both
   the newsgroup, WWW, and Internet in general. 

   Anyone announcing new crossword software is cordially invited to
   submit their work to this archive. 

   Most of the files located here are Windows/DOS related, though
   there are files in the archive for operating systems other than
   Windows/DOS.  There is also some source code which may be of
   interest to crossword game developers.
